The patent “Method for assessing bacterial biofilm” won 2nd place in the category “Best invention of the year in the field of medicine and biotechnology”.

On April 22, 2024, a meeting was held at the Institute with 3rd year students of the Department of Molecular Biology and Immunology of the Institute of Biology and Biomedicine of Nizhny Novgorod State University. N.I. Lobachevsky, dedicated to the 103rd anniversary of the birth of academician I.N. Blokhina (04/21/1921 – 04/14/1999).

On March 25-27, 2024, the XVI Annual All-Russian Congress on Infectious Diseases named after. Academician V.I. Pokrovsky with international participation, dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the 95th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding Russian scientist, organizer of medical science and practice, prominent public figure Valentin Ivanovich Pokrovsky.

The conference was held on March 05 – 06, 2024. The Institute was one of the organizers of the event.

The presentation took place at a meeting of the Scientific Council of the Institute on February 29, 2024 as part of the congratulations of the Institute staff on the past Day of Russian Science.
