Состоялся обучающий семинар по профилактике ВИЧ-инфекции для студентов 3го курса Университета

21  03.2026 The seminar was conducted by an employee of the Volga District Center for the Prevention and Control of AIDS of the Federal Budgetary Scientific Institution of Science, the I.N. Blokhina Novosibirsk Research Institute of Epidemiology and Microbiology.

On March 21, 2026, I.N. Tuzova, an epidemiologist at the Volga District Center for AIDS Prevention and Control of the I.N. Blokhina Nizhny Novgorod Research Institute of Epidemiology and Microbiology (Rospotrebnadzor), conducted a training seminar for third-year students of the Lobachevsky State University of Nizhny Novgorod on HIV prevention. Thirty-five students participated in the seminar.

The seminar covered the HIV epidemic in the Russian Federation, the Volga Federal District, and the Nizhny Novgorod Region, the risk factors for HIV infection, and the main groups at increased risk of infection. Special attention was paid to preventive and anti-epidemic measures. Students were informed about the groups subject to mandatory medical testing for HIV infection, those recommended for voluntary testing, and organizations offering HIV testing.
