The Lazurny Educational Center hosted discussions on healthy lifestyles
10  07.2026
The seminar-discussion "Fundamentals of a Healthy and Safe Lifestyle" discussed the problem of socially significant diseases and its relevance for young people.

On July 10, 2026, E.E. Kuzovatova, PhD, Associate Professor and Director of the Volga District Center for AIDS Prevention and Control, held thematic discussions with teenagers at the Lazurny Children's Health and Wellness Educational Center. Participants in the "Dream City – Lazurny" session—students from general education organizations and supplementary education associations in the Nizhny Novgorod Region, activists, and winners of the school student competition movement—are participating in educational programs in the following areas: Science (VR technology, 3D modeling, robotics, aircraft modeling); Art (design project, graffiti street art, animation, video, and photography). During active recreation, high school students not only relax and improve their health but also gain new life experiences—educational, intellectual, leadership, and creative—that will serve them well in life.

The seminar-discussion "Fundamentals of a Healthy and Safe Lifestyle" focused on the issue of socially significant diseases and their relevance to young people. Particular attention was paid to HIV prevention as a behavioral risk disease. E.E. Kuzovatova discussed risk factors for infection, analyzed situations that pose a risk of HIV infection, and provided recommendations for preventing them and making informed choices about safe behavior. The goal of the session was to motivate young people to adopt a healthy lifestyle and maintain and improve their health.
Two interactive sessions were held with a total of 40 participants.

The events were part of Rospotrebnadzor's large-scale educational project, the "Sanprosvet" Lecture Hall, aimed at raising public awareness of effective methods for preventing infectious diseases.
