Young scientist of the institute won a prize in the competition of works

The competition of works by young scientists was held within the framework of the Interregional Scientific and Practical Conference “Fundamental and Applied Aspects of Modern Epidemiology and Infectious Diseases”, dedicated to the 125th anniversary of the establishment of the Federal Budgetary Scientific Institution “Kazan Research Institute of Epidemiology and Microbiology” of Rospotrebnadzor.

The conference was held on June 5-6, 2025 in Kazan.
The Competition involved the work of 39 young specialists from 15 regions of Russia and the Republic of Belarus. The winners were selected in 6 nominations:

  • "Epidemiological surveillance: modern directions of development";
  • "Antimicrobial resistance. Mechanisms of occurrence, diagnostics, prevention and ways to overcome";
  • "Modern methods of laboratory diagnostics of infectious diseases";
  • "Topical issues of infectious pathology";
  • "Topical issues of modern medical microbiology";
  • "Scientific start".

Young scientist of the laboratory of epidemiology of viral hepatitis, researcher Anna Dmitrievna Kashnikova took part in the Competition with the report "Epidemiological characteristics of parenteral viral hepatitis in the Nizhny Novgorod region". The work was awarded a 2nd degree diploma in the nomination "Epidemiological surveillance. Modern directions of development".
