The section will be held as part of the 13th interregional interdisciplinary scientific and practical conference "Current Infectious Diseases of the Volga-Vyatka Region."

Venue: Nizhny Novgorod, 12 Sovetskaya Street, Congress Center, Marins Park Hotel Nizhny Novgorod.
Format: Hybrid – in-person and online.

- Epidemiology and social significance of infectious diseases.
- Organization of medical care for infectious diseases in children and adults.
- The epidemic process of infectious diseases.
- Viral infections.
- Bacterial infections.
- Infectious diseases of the respiratory and gastrointestinal tract.
- Infectious diseases of the central nervous system.
- Viral hepatitis: new treatment approaches.
- HIV infection.
- The problem of pathogen resistance and rational antimicrobial chemotherapy.
- Immunological aspects of infectious morbidity.
- Prevention of infectious diseases.
The event will include a presentation competition for young scientists and specialists (aged 39 and under). The presentations will be evaluated by a selection committee.
The conference's scientific program is planned for accreditation by the Coordinating Council for the Development of Continuous Medical and Pharmaceutical Education under the Russian Ministry of Health.
