Received a first-degree diploma for winning the "Technologies for Life and Health" category.

The results of the 2025 Intellectual Property Competition for the I.P. Kulibin Nizhny Novgorod Region Prize have been announced.
In the "Technologies for Life and Health" category, the I.N. Blokhina Nizhny Novgorod Research Institute of Epidemiology and Microbiology of Rospotrebnadzor received a first-place diploma.
The award was given to Russian patent No. 2805956, "Method for Detecting Genotypes 1 and 2 of the Epstein-Barr Virus." The patent was authored by O.V. Utkin, M.I. Popkova, A.O. Senatskaya, D.A. Bryzgalova, and N.A. Sakharnov, employees of the Laboratory of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology.
