Educators in the Nizhny Novgorod region were briefed on the prevention of infectious diseases

25  09.2026 On September 25, 2026, two online seminars were held for educators from the Nizhny Novgorod region.

The seminar titled "The Issue of Mass and Seasonal Infections in Organized Groups: Prevention of Influenza and Acute Respiratory Viral Infections (ARVI)" focused on ensuring epidemiological safety within educational institutions.
E.E. Kuzovatova outlined the key requirements for sanitary-hygienic and anti-epidemic protocols, introduced participants to the regulatory documents governing preventive measures, and detailed the set of actions recommended during periods of rising epidemic incidence.
Special emphasis was placed on the observance of personal hygiene rules, sanitary-hygienic standards, and healthy lifestyle principles by both staff and students. The importance of systematic organizational work and health education within educational institutions was highlighted.
The seminar on "HIV Prevention" addressed the prevention of socially significant diseases. The primary focus was on preventing HIV infection and fostering a responsible attitude toward one's own health.
Participants learned about HIV transmission risk factors, analyzed scenarios involving potential infection, and received recommendations on avoiding high-risk behaviors. Separate discussions focused on motivating students to adopt a healthy lifestyle and to preserve and improve their health. The events were held as part of Rospotrebnadzor’s “Sanprosvet” educational lecture series, which aims to raise public awareness about effective measures for preventing infectious diseases.
