On June 21, 2023, the district scientific and practical conference "Practical aspects of epidemiological surveillance and control of actual infectious diseases" was held in Nizhny Novgorod.
The conference was held in person with online broadcast to the regions of the Volga Federal District and the Russian Federation.



662 people took part in the work of the Conference (546 online, 116 in person). The conference presented 28 scientific reports on the following topics:

  • Modern epidemiological features of actual infectious diseases;
  • Experience in improving the system of epidemiological surveillance of actual infectious diseases;
  • Health care-associated infections: issues of diagnosis, risk management, prevention;
  • Ways to overcome the resistance of microorganisms to antimicrobial drugs. New antimicrobials, biological and chemical antimicrobials, physical factors of influence and methods of their application;
  • Problematic issues of disinfectology.
  • Effective disinfection-sterilization, deratization and pest control products and technologies;
  • Vaccination and vaccine-preventable infections.
  • Modern achievements and possibilities of immunoprophylaxis of infectious diseases;
  • Ensuring the epidemiological safety of medical activity: ways of development;
  • Digital technologies in epidemiology.
