Rospotrebnadzor has begun comprehensive studies in Burundi

At the Joint Russian-Burundi Center for the Study and Prevention of Infections in Bujumbura, research work has begun, which Rospotrebnadzor is conducting with specialists from the National Institute of Public Health of the Republic of Burundi.
The monograph “Bacterial and viral pathogens of community-acquired pneumonia in children” has been published

The monograph was prepared by the staff of the laboratory of metagenomics and molecular indication of pathogens.

The district scientific-practical conference "Practical aspects of epidemiological surveillance and control of actual infectious diseases" was held.

The conference was held on June 21, 2023 in a face-to-face format with online broadcast to the regions of the Volga Federal District and the Russian Federation.

The Conference was attended by 662 people (546 online, 116 in person), including doctors of various specialties, obstetrician-gynecologists, allergists, anesthesiologists, bacteriologists, KLD specialists, infectious disease specialists, neurologists, healthcare organizers, nursing organizers, pediatricians, therapists, phthisiatricians, surgeons, epidemiologists, specialists from the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, Rospotrebnadzor, Roszdravnadzor , research institutes of various departments, higher educational institutions and commercial structures, members of the association "National Association of Specialists in the Control of Infectious and Noncommunicable Diseases" (NASKI).
Among the participants of the Conference are representatives of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation of all federal districts of the country, as well as foreign colleagues from the Republic of Belarus,
Republic of Kazakhstan.
28 scientific reports were presented at the conference.
Also within the framework of the conference, a round table of the main freelance epidemiologists of the Volga Federal District was held.
