At the Joint Russian-Burundi Center for the Study and Prevention of Infections in Bujumbura, research work has begun, which Rospotrebnadzor is conducting with specialists from the National Institute of Public Health of the Republic of Burundi.
The monograph “Bacterial and viral pathogens of community-acquired pneumonia in children” has been published

The 12th interregional interdisciplinary scientific and practical conference "Current infectious diseases of the Volga-Vyatka region" will be held in Nizhny Novgorod from October 31 to November 1, 2024. The event will be held in the OKA Group of Companies, Gagarin Ave., 27, in person and in absentia.

  • State Budgetary Healthcare Institution of the Nizhny Novgorod Region "Nizhny Novgorod Regional Center for the Prevention and Control of AIDS and Infectious Diseases"
  • Euro-Asian Society for Infectious Diseases

The conference will address current issues of the epidemiology of socially significant infectious diseases, including COVID-19, the organization of medical care for infectious diseases in children and adults, the prevention of infectious diseases, etc.

The conference is submitted for accreditation as an educational event in the continuous medical education program.
