Results of the XVI All-Russian scientific and practical conference of young scientists and specialists of Rospotrebnadzor

09  09.2024 On September 4-6, 2024, the XVI All-Russian scientific and practical conference of young scientists and specialists of Rospotrebnadzor "Modern problems of epidemiology, microbiology and hygiene" was held in Yekaterinburg.

The conference was held at the Federal Budgetary Scientific Institution "EMNC for Prevention and Health Protection of Industrial Workers" of Rospotrebnadzor. In total, more than 100 young scientists and specialists from Rospotrebnadzor bodies and organizations, scientific and other organizations of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, the Ministry of Health of Russia, FANO and other departments of various regions of the Russian Federation took part in the conference.
The conference program was structured in such a way that, within the framework of one session, reports were heard from scientists and practitioners devoted to current problems of hygiene, epidemiology or microbiology. The young scientists themselves acted as moderators of the sessions. In total, 61 reports were heard and discussed, including 10 posters. The conference included a competition "Best Work of a Young Scientist". By decision of the competition committee, 10 works were noted in the areas of "epidemiology", "microbiology" and "hygiene".
Our institute was represented at the conference by junior researcher, chairman of the Scientific and Methodological Council of the Scientific Research Institute of Epidemiology and Microbiology, academician I.N. Blokhina of Rospotrebnadzor Novoselova Anastasia Aleksandrovna with a report "Features of the epidemic process of the hepatitis C virus in surgical hospitals of the Nizhny Novgorod region". The work of Novoselova A.A. aroused the interest of the audience. On September 5, as part of the conference, the annual meeting of the Council of young scientists and specialists of Rospotrebnadzor was held. At the meeting, the chairman of the SMU NNIIEM Novoselova A.A. presented a report on the activities of the Council of young scientists of our institute.
